WELL...Change is something that has happened quite a bit with this band, and again, change is upon us...After 3+ years of fantastic playing, creative contribution, and general great vibe building, CLYDE ALFORD will be parting ways with ONE & TWENTY. Clyde has been an integral part of my growth as an artist, and essential to the success we have attained so far. Simply put, I finally figured out what I was hearing in my head, and I'm looking for a harder sound. The man is a monster though, and still one of my BOYZ! We will all miss Clyde dearly and it will be tough moving on without him, but hopefully this change will lead to further growth for all parties. We will have one last blowout gig with Clyde. MAY 9th at Desmond's Tavern. Check out the SHOWS page for details.
All interested in auditioning for the spot, please go to the DRUM SEARCH page for instructions and to download the audition MP3s....Stay tuned...it's gonna be great!

Yo, yo, yo, yo...
Wow, I need some sleep. Anyway, great show at Alphabet Lounge. (Aside from the little cover charge glitch!) Those who came, got a free show! But it was fun. So great to see both the Swivel Hips (who we love), and Sans Cherubs, (who we now love too). Actually meeting the Sans Cherubs was a treat b/c I'd emailed them over the last year or so, but never got to meet them. Definitely check both of these bands out.....There will be a review of our CD in ROCKRGRL Magazine for their March/April issue by the great Kathleen Warnock..... We're booking away. Should have some great gigs coming up in the city and around the northeast, so keep checkin' the SHOWS page....I just got a nifty new pedal board (faster set-up and breakdown time and now I truly look like a guitar bad ass!)....And I'm back to playing piano and sitting in a room and writing tunes. Haven't done that since I was a teenager. So new stuff is coming, I promise. We're just polishing now.....LADYFEST EAST 2002 is taking submissions now. Check the website for submission info....That's it for now. Peace...CT

Happy Belated New Year All! . . . We've been keeping busy in 2002. Lots o' gigs in 2002 so far. Many more to come! . . . The CDBABY.COM link is now live for our CD. If you don't have it, GET IT, if you have it, TELL A FRIEND!!!!! . . . Matt Iselin joined us for a gig in January, and we hope to hang on to him for some more. The LFE gig at the Knit was an eye-popping adventure. Who knows what I'll take off next . . . LP RAWKED! and Lourds and Lawrence are 2 of my fave people. Brenda was an inspiration to watch and Carrie, Jess, Chris, Elizabeth, Sophie, Holly, Erin & Mona all get big thanks! Hopefully we'll have pics up soon . . . There will be a review of our CD in ROCKRGRL Magazine for their March/April issue by the great Kathleen Warnock. We eagerly await it . . . And we'll be heading to Sarah Lawrence College in March. Stay tuned for details . . . in the mean time, Todd's getting me addicted to ProTools and making me think of dropping a lot of cash on home recording, yikes! . . . And we're working on new material. LADYFEST EAST 2002 is gearing up. This year's will be even more amazing, in Williamburg BROOKLYN! Keeping cheking the website for updates. And I've decided to head off to merry ole England for 2 weeks this summer, to check out LF London and hopefully check out Radiohead live. (Ed O'Brien...watch out!) That's it for now. One day I'll finally get a journal up here. But I'm a big procrastinator, so who knows. See ya soon--CT

Well, finally got around to doing the NEWS page. So here it is! The big news is that the site is almost done. YAY! Still some kinks to iron out, but all in all pretty cool. But especially check out the GALLERY. We have new pics up there and pics from Ladyfest East as well as old pics of us recording. We hope you dig it . . . We have a new guitarist, Spiro. He hails from a band called THE NOW, and should be adding some sweet guitar work to the mix . . . Also, we've finally signed up with CDBABY.COM. Our CDs will be available there as of 1/30/02. So check it out! That's the news for now. Look out for Philly, Baltimore and D.C. dates in February and March, and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
